Silent Disco in the Main Library
On Friday 21 March, the Main Library turned into a dance floor full of colours and sounds. More than 100 participants took part in a unique Silent Disco, where everyone could choose their favourite music channel and party to the rhythm that only played in their headphones.
Three diverse channels awaited the participants - from classic hits and hits from the 80s and 90s, through house and radio atmospheres, to a stronger dose of rap and hip-hop. Everyone could find something to their liking and dance until midnight... in total silence!

"Written in the Cards. 55 Years of the University of Gdańsk" - exhibition
Every book has its own card in the library catalog. Every brochure, magazine, map, poster, even a card. It does not matter whether it is a paper card or an online card. The information on both is always the same. They are like signposts. Thanks to them, we can find the item we are looking for on the shelf. The card tells us everything: how many pages the book has, its size in centimeters, where and when it was published and in what language. Whether it can be borrowed and what its reference number or classification is.
