‘Secrets of my neighbourhood’ - photography exhibition inspired by the prose of Brigitte Giraud

Secrets of My Neighbourhood’ - exhibition

The Neophilology Library invites you to view an exhibition of photographs by the winners of the international student competition ‘Secrets of My Neighbourhood’, relating to the work of Brigitte Giraud, a prominent French writer and editor and winner of the Goncourt Prize. The photographic exhibition, which is located in the main hall of the Neo-Philology building, is accompanied by an exhibition in the Neophilology Library, presenting the figure and creative output of the author, who will be a guest of the Faculty of Philology and the UG Main Library on 23 May.

In her work, which is deeply moving, highly personal and at the same time universal, Brigitte Giraud analyses the impact of time, place, political situation, climate, professional work and social status on human destiny.

Both exhibitions can be seen until 15 June 2025. You are cordially invited
