Open Stacks Area

In the Main Library and in some specialist libraries, books and magazines are located in an open stack area and the reader searches for the required publication himself. Once the publication has been used, it must be put away on a special trolley.
In the reading rooms, the collections are arranged by subject according to classification, and within subjects alphabetically (by author, in the case of collective works by title).
In the lending area (first floor of the Main Library) books are arranged according to the order of their reference number.
