Triptych: Eros | Thanatos | Logos. Artists: Denis Chyżawski, Wiktor Kuczewski, Mila Chyżawska – painting exhibition at the Main Library

We invite you to the exhibition Triptych: Eros | Thanatos | Logos, created by three artists: Denis Chyżawski, Wiktor Kuczewski and Mila Chyżawska.

The title refers to three archetypal forces: Eros (love, desire), Thanatos (death, survival) and Logos (order, symbol). 
Denis explores the sensual, erotic nature of the body, Wiktor focuses on the body as a witness to violence, suffering and the struggle for survival, and Mila focuses on the body as a vessel for universal symbols, myths and archetypes. This is an exhibition about extremes, but also about the continuity of human experience, where the body is both a source of pleasure and pain.  

The opening will take place on 8 September 2025 at 5 p.m. in the Main Library of the University of Gdańsk on the first floor, room 1.21.
During the opening, there will be body painting accompanied by music.
